The Crooked House project in Sopot was created thanks to unusual artistic inspirations that gave it a unique character. Architects Szotyńscy & Zaleski drew ideas from fairy-tale illustrations by Jan Marcin Szancer and drawings by Per Dahlberg .


These influences make the building look like it was taken straight from the magical world of fairy tales.


Jan Marcin Szancer was a Polish graphic designer and illustrator of children's books. His works were full of fantasy and unusual shapes, which perfectly reflects the atmosphere of Crooked House in Sopot.
